They say that the perfect wedding gown when worn by the perfect bride needs no accessories. This is probably not true, but you can see what they mean by it. Wedding dresses are often very intricate and have a lot of detailing to them, from the corset to the train. Also, a bride’s hair and makeup is also often very flamboyant, which indeed leaves little room for bridal accessories. But the truth is, people think that everything that a bride wears needs to stand out on its own, and that’s where the error lies. You can wear plenty of jewellery and not have it look like you’re wearing too much jewellery if you just keep in simple and have it work with the overall look instead of trying to make it stand out on its own.

For example, you don’t need to wear long or large earrings. A small earring that matches the dress is a much more suitable option and it won’t make you look like your wearing everything that you found on your accessory wall. You can also have specific accessories for specific moments in a wedding. For example, a bracelet may be hidden until it’s time to put your wedding ring on, since at that time all eyes will be on your hands and it will look good in pictures.

We often hear about how making a first impression is important during a job interview but how many of us really took the effort to look presentable to our potential employers? It’s not really all that hard to do so, because all you need to do is follow some essential tips and stick to them prior to the interview.

Firstly, you need not run out to get a new set of clothes just for the impending interview but if it helps boost your confidence, by all means do so. It would be wise to select clothes that are well fitted. Loose clothes will make you look dowdy and clothes that are too tight will make you seem uncomfortable. Don’t be too flashy when it comes to your choice of clothes. Stick to a neutral color, one that isn’t an eyesore. Before entering the interview room, check for any buttons that are undone to avoid any untoward embarrassments.

When it comes to hairdos, neat and clean is the only way to go. Unless you’re being interviewed for the post of a hairdresser, it’s best to make sure your tresses are neatly done. Long bangs should be cut short, and unruly hair duly tamed before attending the all-important interview.
